The Cordillera Equestrian Center

The Cordillera Equestrian Center is the largest such facility in the Vail Valley, boarding up to 48 horses.

Outdoor Amenities


In the heart of Cordillera sits a spectacular equestrian center that includes three indoor/outdoor riding arenas, boarding stalls with daily turn outs as well as outdoor living paddocks and training facilities.

From here, you can access thousands of acres of National Forest trails that retrace the footsteps of Colorado's earliest pioneers. Don't be too distracted by the beautiful views. Remember to keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife that thrives here at Cordillera.

Facility 

22 Stall Heated Barn:
14- 10 x 12 box stalls
8- 12’ x 12’ Dutch-door stalls

90’x180’ with newly installed rhyolite base and sand/geotextile footing 
Maintained multiple times daily

These paddocks have a compacted crushed stone footing which drains well.

Boarding

The Cordillera Equestrian Center offers full and partial care boarding and is designed and operated for superior horse care that caters to all types of horses and riders. Full-care boarders are fed and given visual inspections three times a day by our experienced staff. Cordillera Public Safety takes the night shift, checking on the horses twice nightly.  Partial-care boarders have full access to the facilities and trails, and their horses receive a daily turn-out and three feedings per day.

Connect yourself with these majestic, noble and proud animals.  Gain immense enjoyment as well as physical and mental fitness atop a horse with quality lessons from experienced trainers.  

Services

Well-trained staff members are also available for grooming, bathing, tacking, lunging and exercising of horses.

The Cordillera Equestrian Center exists to provide an outstanding amenity for all Cordillera property owners.  The Cordillera Equestrian Center will maintain a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment for all who use the facility.  The Cordillera Equestrian Center will generate sufficient income to offset all direct costs.
